Youth and Children's Brotherhood of Our Lady the Virgin of Forgiveness and Jesus of Hope
A group of four young brothers decided in 1992 to found a brotherhood which would carry its own image.
The first image was a Marian image, the Virgen de los Perdones. The first time this image was carried was in the Holy Week of 1994. In 1998 there was a tragic fire in which the image was burned, and another image was created in 1999.
Soon after, the Cristo de la Esperanza suffered an accident of which the damage was so great that it was irreparable. It was the Hermandad de la Virgen de las Angustias (Brotherhood of the Virgin of the Anguish) the one which l gave an image of a Christ, what is known today as Jesus of Hope.
Finally we find the Virgen de la Soledad which was contributed by a family from Veratense.

Curiosities
One of the great curiosities of our brotherhood is that, in 1998, the image of the Virgin was burned. In 1999, a new image was created, which is carried by the costaleros between 17 and 25 years old. When they turn 25 years old, they lose the opportunity to be the Virgin’s feet. The ashes of the Virgin burned in 1998 are carried in the step, kept in the reliquary as a sign of remembrance.
Likewise, the current Cristo de la Esperanza was donated by the Hermandad de la Virgen de las Angustias after losing the previous one in an accident in the church the year after the fire.
